30 Day Countdown, Day 2: UWDP Staff Temperature Check

Stephen Brashear-USA TODAY SportsWhile the Huskies haven't played a game yet, we know much more about the team than we did at the start of this month-long series. Even though we have given our thoughts on everything from historical players who could fill holes to the best teams in other conferences, some of our opinions have likely changed due to the new information that we have seen during camp. Per tradition, we had a roundtable discussion about some of the areas where our opinions might have evolved during this time. https://www.gamedaywashington.com  Question #1: how do you feel about the Huskies overall compared to how you felt at the start of camp? If your feelings have changed, why?Andrew Berg: The biggest thing that has changed for me since the start of camp is that I feel more confident in the defense. Going into fall camp, it looked like we had a lot of interesting potential players, but how the two-deep would sort out was not clear. The practice and scrimmage reports lead me to believe that we're going to be very versatile and not rely on one or two major play-makers on defense. Just like Bill Belichick designed New England defenses that took away something important from every opponent, I think our defense will try to do the same.
